The Elevation Tea Company is a group of people who are doing really cool and innovate things. First off, they offer a tea quiz on your website, to help customers decide on exactly what the right type of tea is for them in that moment.

Another cool thing they’re doing is making their tea bags from abaca pulp teabags. Abaca pulp is made from a species of banana tree that comes from the Philippines. Not only is this creating jobs in the area, but the teabags are entirely biodegradable.

These guys also offer a subscription box so that each month they give you an entirely unique selection, for those of us who just can’t decide on what tea to get. They offer crazy unique flavors, have you ever heard of bonfire smores’ tea?! I think not!

50. TeaLee’s Tea Company

For our final tea shop on the list, I’m going to take this opportunity to toot the horn of one of my favorite tea shops on the planet. Though they don’t actually ship teas online, if you are ever in Denver, Colorado, I highly recommend you go and visit this tea shop.

I visited Denver sometime last year, and just so happened to stumble on this tea shop. I can’t really tell you the extremity of the good vibes you feel when you go there. One of the loveliest couples own this shop, and they chat with you and sit down at your table like you’re a member of the family.

The husband picks the records, and the wife makes the best curried chicken sandwich you’ll ever have. They sell jewelry from local artists, as well as ceramics and local poets self-published books as well. They are true supporters of their community, and I want you to go and support them! Go! Go now! Do it! They’ll put a smile on your face whether you like it or not.
